Singapore Sports Venues, Stadiums, Arenas, Facilities, Grounds & Ovals

The Singapore Sports Hub is one of the most famous sporting facilities in the country. Known for its state-of-the-art amenities, this is the best place to visit if you’d like to watch a game or participate in fitness activities yourself. Several facilities are open to the public; including a sports museum and library, lawn bowling green, skate park, tennis courts, beach volleyball courts, and much more.

The Singapore Indoor Stadium is a legendary entertainment venue, spanning 54,178 square meters in size. It can seat up to 12,000 people and was designed by a renowned architect from Japan named Kenzo Tange. One of the Singapore Indoor Stadium’s major highlights is its curved roof, resembling the ceilings found in traditional temples of China. Several famous international sports events have been held here.

Another of the iconic Singapore sports venues is the National Stadium. What makes this venue stand apart from others is that it’s designed with a customisable structure, allowing organisers to tailor-fit its size and features depending on the weather and event. The National Stadium also hosts many international concerts aside from sporting matches.

The OCBC Arena is also part of the Singapore Sports Hub and features a scalable, flexible design that allows it to accommodate a wide variety of sports events. Many of Singapore’s national sports teams train here because of its modern facilities; including Fencing Singapore, the Basketball Association of Singapore, Singapore Badminton Association, and much more.

Other Singapore sports venues you should check out include the OCBC Aquatic Centre, Water Sports Centre, Kallang Tennis Centre, and Jalan Besar Sports Centre among others.

No matter what sport you love, you’re sure to find a facility in Singapore!
