Singapore Beaches

Singapore beaches may be man-made, but they are a relaxing destination in an otherwise busy city.

There are several beach destinations in the country to choose from; all making excellent getaways for friends and family.

Singapore Beaches, Man-Made & Natural Beaches, Parks, Islands To Visit

Pulau Ubin is one of the most popular Singapore beaches. Though actually an island, we recommend checking out Pulau Ubin if you are in need of a tranquil tropical retreat. It’s only a short boat ride away, and once you arrive, you’ll be treated to lush greens and blue waters. If you are looking for ways to stay healthy during your visit, there are numerous cycling paths. Don’t forget to snorkel at Chek Jawa, a coral reef that is thousands of years old. It’s teeming with vibrant marine life!

Palawan Beach is a sight to behold. Located on Sentosa Island, Palawan Beach is iconic; recognised by its suspension bridge that is seen on many photographs of this beach. Famed for being a family-friendly destination, there are numerous water activities ideal for travellers of all ages. An animal show is also held daily. Once the activities have built an appetite, several beach food stalls are an excellent stop for the sheer variety of cuisines offered.

Siloso Beach is a popular location amongst Singapore’s beaches. Conveniently located just 30 minutes from the central business district, Siloso Beach stands out for a sandy yet clean cove that is perfect for swimming and sunning. Not too far away are most of Sentosa’s most popular attractions, including Nestopia, Mega Adventure, Fort Siloso Skywalk, AJ Hackett Sentosa, and many more. The coastline is peppered with fantastic dining and drinking options, too.

Changi Beach is one of Singapore’s oldest remaining coastal parks. It has a unique village charm to it, so it’s no wonder why both locals and travellers enjoy Changi Beach so much. Amenities here include fitness stations, washrooms, playground, and barbecue pits.

Other great Singapore beaches to visit include Tanjong Beach, Changi Boardwalk, and East Coast Park, to name a few.

Check out these beaches the next time you need a relaxing break.
