Marine Parade Singapore, Parkway Mall & Hotel Accommodation

Marine Parade was Singapore’s first residential area that was built on reclaimed land. Today, it is a sought-after place of residence for both natives and expats as there are several social amenities and recreational facilities available and easy access to the beaches on the east coast.

When visiting Marine Parade, a must visit location is the East Coast Park. This is a popular park frequently visited by residents in the area and is a popular place to spend a Sunday afternoon where kids can enjoy cycling on rented bicycles, go cable skiing, run by the beach or simply sit down and enjoy the view over a picnic lunch.

For those in the mood to shop, Parkway Parade is the biggest suburban mall here which carries many major brands and has several dining destinations. As a tourist, you would do well to check out the street market in Marine Parade which is a great waterfront destination to check out local antiques. There are also several high rated restaurants here such as Mad Nest, Mad Thai or Al Frono, each dishing out different cuisine.
