Changi Attractions, Things To Do & See, Tourist Places To Visit, Singapore

Take a boat ride to Pulau Ubin, just off the coast of Changi. Lush greenery and tranquil surroundings welcome you to this charming, quiet island. Explore Pulau Ubin on a bicycle, or stroll along the boardwalk to marvel at the mangrove and biodiversity.

Located at the tip of the city is Changi Beach; one of the oldest coastal areas in Singapore. Well-loved by locals for its laid-back vibe, tourists are encouraged to explore this lesser-known beach. You can go fishing, or even take the family on a picnic. Soak up the sun along the beach, or enjoy water sports on the ocean. Some of the facilities on Changi Beach include fitness stations and barbecue pits, while a playground will keep the kids entertained.

The Changi Boardwalk is an iconic landmark known for its relaxing coastal scenery, vibrant flora and fauna, and picturesque hiking trails. It’s home to a variety of heritage trees, best explored on the footpath. The six walking trails are suitable for all fitness levels but don’t miss out the Beach Walk where you can take in stunning coastline views. Make sure to wear comfortable walking shoes when you visit the Changi Boardwalk.

One of the major Changi attractions is the Republic of Singapore Navy Museum. This fascinating repository of information on the Singapore Navy is a must-visit for history enthusiasts. Its displays include historical artefacts, model presentations of ships, and zones dedicated to the various facets of the Singapore Navy. Learn all about the roots of the navy, the vessels used, underwater warfare, and much more.

There’s much more to Changi attractions than just the airport. Be sure to carve some time out to explore these sights – you just might find a few gems!
