Due to the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19) throughout Singapore and the resulting restrictions imposed by the government, Home of Athletics has been temporarily closed until further notice. We will keep you up to date any developments and please stay safe.
The Home of Athletics (previously known as the Kallang Track) is Singapore’s premier sporting venue for track and field athletes.
The venue is the home of Singapore Athletics; serving as the association’s main sporting venue for training, although amateur track and field enthusiasts are also welcome to use the facilities within certain hours.
Home of Athletics, Kallang Track Running & Practice Field, Singapore
The Home of Athletics has undergone a refurbishment of its facilities over the years; now featuring an International Association of Athletics Federations Grade 1 synthetic track, two pole vault pits, four pits for long and triple jumps, two pits for discus and hammer throw, and a further two for shot put.
As the track is the training ground of national athletes, visitors should be aware and considerate. Keep in mind that athletes tend to move faster and at a higher speed, so please keep out of the inner lanes. The outermost lanes are where you can walk or jog.
Rollerblading, scooters, prams, and bicycles are prohibited on the tracks. Non-track and field related activities shouldn’t be played on the track either.
The track is open to the public only during hours listed below. The facility will be closed to the public at other times so that the facilities are available for National Junior, Youth & Senior Athletes as a priority to train daily; without the distraction and hazards of a public training environment.
The Home of Athletics is located at 52 Stadium Road, Singapore.
