Serangoon

Serangoon is a beautiful part of Singapore as it boasts beautiful scenery including hills and a scenic landscape.

Serangoon is primarily a residential town and is located in the North-East Region of Singapore. The town has a number of smaller zones within its precincts including Serangoon Central, Lorong Chuan, Upper Paya Lebar, Serangoon Gardens, Serangoon North, Seletar Hills and Serangoon North Industrial Estate.

Serangoon Singapore, Little India, MRT & Hotel Accommodation

It is easy to get around within Serangoon as there is a MRT service which runs on the North-East Line as well sa the and Circle Line. There are also a number of public busses which connect the township outside of the MRT zones.

Indian people settled in Serangoon from 1826 and worked in the many industrial plants which existed in the township. Today, the population is predominately Indian and the town is located just 8 kilometres from the popular “Little India.”

There are a small number of restaurants and pubs located here, but the township is so centrally located, that you will never be far from large shopping malls and entertainment venues.
