Tampines North

Tampines North is now regarded as one of the best leisure and retail destinations in suburban Singapore.

Home to over 200,000 residents, Tampines has a number of parks, shops and recreation facilities within its precinct.

Primarily a residential district, Tampines has a number of suburbs located within the larger region which are spread out over 244kmsq. These suburbs include Tampines Town, Tampines North and Simei.

Whilst in Tampines, take the time to stroll through their many green spaces and parks. There are three main parks in Tampines Town; Sunplaza Park, Tampines Bike Park and Tampines EcoGreen. Community events are often held in these parks and are also used daily for exercise and picnic activities.

Public transportation is available through the MRT services with the new Tampines West and Tampines East MRT Stations servicing the area. There is also a bus interchange which services other areas in Tampines which are off the main MRT lines.

The Tampines Town Hub is a new space where people can come together and use many local facilities which were built in 2016. Facilities available include a community centre, sports and recreation centres, swimming pools, bowling alleys, information centres and several offices.
