Singapore International Festival of Arts

Singapore, famous for its dynamic and vibrant culture, again showcases its talents as the annual Singapore International Festival of Arts (SIFA) returns in 2026.

The Singapore International Festival of Arts presents theatre, dance, music, and visual arts in a series of performances held in various venues throughout Singapore.

Singapore International Festival of Arts 2026 Date & Performance Schedule

The festival showcases the resilience and innovation of Singapore’s creative community, including free performances in public spaces like the SIFA Pavilion at Bedok Town Square and Little SIFA at Empress Lawn.

As Singapore continues to shape and strengthen its identity as a nation, SIFA 2026 presents a showcase that highlights the originality, imagination, and quality of Singaporean arts.

This year’s festival is an unprecedented display of homegrown talent, featuring one of the largest numbers of commissioned works by Singaporean artists in SIFA’s history. From visionary reinterpretations of classics to strikingly original creations, SIFA 2026 is a powerful reflection of the depth of Singapore’s artistic landscape.

The festival also ventures beyond the theatre walls and reimagines where and how we experience the arts. We take strides into open community spaces, bringing the festival’s magic to everyone, everywhere. We debut the SIFA Pavilion at Bedok Town Square, which will pulse as a vibrant hub of performances and artistic encounters seamlessly woven into the rhythm of our daily lives. Meanwhile, our beloved family-friendly programme, Little SIFA, returns and sets up camp at Empress Lawn, creating a delightful world of wonder for curious minds of all ages.

As Singapore’s annual pinnacle performing arts festival, the Singapore International Festival of Arts (SIFA) presents captivating and diverse works across theatre, music, dance, film, and visual arts. First launched as the Singapore Festival of Arts in 1977, the festival has evolved several times and has inspired generations of arts lovers and practitioners. Today, the highly anticipated festival is a high point on Singapore’s arts and cultural calendar.

SIFA continues its festival mission to champion the creation and presentation of Singaporean and international works.

So much is happening during the festival that it’s difficult to mention it all here. Please check out the official event program here for the full list of events, dates, times, locations, and ticket prices.
