Singapore Food Trail

The Singapore Food Trail is a contemporary hawker centre whose retro-design has won the hearts of many visiting Singapore for the first time.

Think of a place with tasty and cheap food against a vintage background and you have an idea of what this food trail looks like.

This food street has a charming aura straight out of the 1960s, and is a great place to go back in time. This perfect combination of great street food, amazing decor and the charm of touring like a local makes this street one of the most iconic places to experience Singapore’s sights, smells and sounds.

Here, food lovers have an opportunity to indulge in popular local dishes such as the Kachang puteh and ice balls, a favourite for many. With more than a dozen food stalls to choose from, you will be spoilt for choice. Whether you would to enjoy some delicious noodles from High Street Tai Wah Pork Noodle, or are looking forward to getting fresh seafood at Boon Tat Street Barbeque Seafood, there are many options where you can treat yourself.

Old time favourites such as Chinatown Ann Chin Popiah are also worth checking out, and you can always treat yourself to some great food after a day of exploring. For visitors who love thick, fragrant satay, nothing compares to the sauce served at Old airport Road Satay Beehoon. Alternatively, opt for delicious roast chicken at the Bugis Street Famous Hainanese Chicken.

If you love traditional fruits and vegetables, visit Lagoon Kampong Rojak to enjoy excellent portions of rojak with your preferred accompaniments, the cuttlefish kangkong is a perfect match. Other food stalls located on Singapore Food Trail include the Katong Keah Kee Fried Oysters as well as Rong Chen Bak Kut Teh.

Once you have had your fill, climb atop an old rickshaw onsite and make the best of it with a fun photo opportunity. There is also a quaint antique shop located at the back of the trail from where you can get genuine souvenirs at competitive prices.

Take the MRT to get to Singapore Food Trail which is located right at the base of the Singapore Flyer.
