Bukit Batok Singapore, Nature Park, Pool, MRT & Accommodation

Bukit Batok is well connected by buses and a MRT network and the town offers a wide range of recreational options. The country club has a wide range of entertainment activities including bowling, swimming and many others. The biggest shopping complex is the West Mall which has everything ranging from superstores and restaurants to a Cineplex and other fun places to hang out.

If you are a nature lover, Bukit Batok will certainly delight you. The Town Park is a beautiful location where visitors and locals come to relax. May people come to the park to walk, run, ride or just simply to enjoy the green surroundings.

The star attraction in Bukit Batok is the Bukit Batok Nature Park. Built at the site of what had once been a granite quarry, today it provides a stunning view of this peaceful suburb. Within the park, you will find a children’s playground, fitness equipment as well as venues which can host events. The park spans 36 hectares and is wheelchair accessible. Fishing is not allowed in the park and visitors are permitted between 7am-7pm.

The Bukit Batok Nature Park also enjoys historical significance. Japanese soldiers had once used the place to build memorials to fallen comrades. Today, what remains of the memorials are a couple of planks and a hundred twenty concrete steps representing the fluidity of time.
