The Library@Orchard is a public library managed by the National Library Board of Singapore. It was opened in October 2014 by Dr Yaacob Ibrahim, the Minister for Communications and Information.
What sets this library apart from others in the country is its focus on applied arts, design, and lifestyle.

A Library Guide station is found on both floors of the library, which can assist visitors in finding the material that is needed. Alternatively, feel free to approach any of the friendly staff.
On the upper level, you’ll find four “book trees”, which are essentially clusters of People, Product, Visual Design, and Space. All book trees feature books, as well as magazines, audio-visual material, and digital displays highlighting icons in each segment.
Visitors can also make use of the reservation pick-up service offered at the library. Simply pick up your titles located at the lockers by the entrance. Various membership tiers are available for Singaporean residents, as well as foreigners visiting Singapore.
