The friendly staff will be happy to answer any questions you have or assist you in booking sightseeing tours. Not to be missed are the daily walking tours, which take you to the many fascinating traditional Chinese medicine shops nearby while providing information on the colourful history of Chinese migrants in Singapore.

An array of Asian and Chinese souvenirs and tickets to major attractions are sold in the centre as well. It makes a terrific one-stop shop for visitors who’d like to learn about Chinatown’s history, culture, shops, and much more; all housed in a thoughtfully-designed establishment.

The establishment is owned and operated by the Chinatown Business Association, whose chairman Wong Chi Keong believes that the services provided will enhance the experience of visitors. Not only do they provide excellent services, but it’s also designed in such a way that showcases traditional Chinese elements in its design.

The Chinatown Visitor Centre is located at 2 Banda Street – right behind the Buddha Tooth Relic Temple and Museum. Opening hours are 9am to 9pm daily.
