BCA Gallery

The BCA Gallery is an interactive and multi-sensory museum established by the Building and Construction Authority in Singapore.

The main focus of the museum is to educate the public about the history, progress, and technical advancements of Singapore’s unique future-ready building industry and its humble beginnings dating back to the early 18th century.

The gallery is the only one of its kind that showcases the past, present, and future of the Singaporean construction scene. Thanks to recent renovations, it now features six various zones equipped with multimedia features that educate about the transformation of Singapore’s built environment, and how many iconic buildings go from conceptualisation to occupation and everything in between.

Visitors also get to learn about many of the most famous buildings in the city and the construction technologies that have been used along the way.

Young visitors will appreciate the Sensory Garden, where they can learn about the role of the building and construction industry in shaping the environment through sounds, sights, textures, tastes, and smells in a tranquil environment. The Sensory Garden also incorporates the principles of universal design, as a means of educating visitors about its importance and how design elements can enrich a person’s experience regardless of their abilities.

The BCA Gallery is located at the BCA Academy at 200 Braddell Road in Singapore. The museum is open from Mondays to Fridays except on public holidays, from 10am to 5pm.

Admission is free, but by appointment online. Guided group tour requests must have at least ten visitors and a maximum of 28, and are subject to the availability of tour guides.
