Flower Dome is an awe-inspiring part of Gardens by the Bay, an iconic part of Singapore’s heritage and one of Singapore’s most popular tourist destinations. The dome is in fact, one of the world’s biggest air-conditioned greenhouse.

The greenhouse’s unique theme of green vibrant gardens, coupled with its exotic plants makes for an exciting escape in one of the country’s best locations. The spectacular display of beautiful flowers and plants sourced from different regions makes for a unique experience.

Flower Dome, Ticket Prices & Admission Gardens by the Bay Singapore

The Flower Dome is a unique experience as visitors will be able to see and enjoy thousands of plants from all over the world. Separated into “worlds”, you can view amazing plants from Australia, flowers from Japan, cactus from South America and Baobab Trees from Africa.

Take a leisurely stroll through the dome and let yourself loose through the world where spring never comes to an end. The Flower Dome’s indoor climate is designed to replicate that of the cool-dry climate of regions in the Mediterranean. Consequently, this indoor setup mimics the weather of places such as California, Spain, Italy and parts of South Africa.

The Flower Dome is open daily from 9am to 9pm with the last ticket sales at 8pm. Entry is charged depending on whether one wants a single conservatory ticket or a double entry so that you can also enter the “Cloud Forest” which is located next door.

To get to the Flower Dome, catch the MRT to the Gardens via the Circle or Downtown Line. Alight at Bayfront MRT Station (CE1/DT16). Take Exit B and follow the underground linkway. Exit and cross the Dragonfly Bridge or Meadow Bridge into Gardens by the Bay.

    • Hi,

Looking at the official Gardens by the Bay website, the “Singapore Resident rates are applicable to Singapore Citizens, Permanent Residents and those living in Singapore, including holders of employment passes, work permits or dependent passes.”

If you were looking at the tickets at the Govoyagin website, it appears that they only sell Adult and Child tickets, so they don’t offer discounts for Singapore Residents.

I am not sure if you are looking to visit the Cloud Forest as well (in my opinion, I actually liked that better than the Flower Dome), but the rates on the Govoyagin website are actually cheaper than the official website / if you bought them in person.

Even with a Singapore Resident discount on the official website, combined entry to both Flower Dome and Cloud Forest is selling for $20, but Govoyagin has it for $18.

So if you just want the Flower Dome, you can buy the ticket for $12 on the official website, or you can get the combined ticket for $18 from Govoyagin at https://www.govoyagin.com/activities/singapore-marina_bay-gardens-by-the-bay-gbtb/6703?acode=holidaypoint

      Thanks
      Michael

    • Hi Stella,

You are correct that on every second Tuesday of each month, Singaporeans with the Merdeka Generation or Pioneer Generation card can get free entry to Flower Dome. This appears to be running from June 2019 to May 2020.

It’s noted that eligible seniors may proceed directly to Flower Dome’s entrance and present any of the following: Merdeka Generation Card, Pioneer Generation Card or the Merdeka Generation eligibility letter.

      Thanks
      Michael
